👀 Here’s what we have our eye on (and you should too):

• AutoGPT: currently the 🔥 thing on Github, autonomous agents could usher in a new level of innovation… or create totally new disasters. Experimentation on this front is moving at lightspeed.

• Elon Musk: after calling for a pause in the development of generative AI, he’s all-in on starting his own gen AI company called X.ai. Could he be developing an “anti-woke” competitor?

• Stable Diffusion: Stability AI launches Stable Diffusion XL, which is getting even better at generating words in images (a current weakness). Image generation’s rapid progress will be a defining theme of 2023.

• Amazon: Amazon joins the AI race with Bedrock (for building and scaling with ML models) and CodeWhisperer (AI-powered coding assistant). But we’re certain this is not where their ambitions end.
